The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Former two-time unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is really proceeding.
